The Book Babes met eight years ago at a meeting of the Colorado Independent Publishers Association in Denver. Since then they have worked together on a variety of boards, committees and publishing conferences, cementing their friendship over the course of many dinners out. The typical topic of conversation at those dinners? Books, books, politics, books.
When the economy took a tumble in 2008, they realized that their unique synergy and experience provided the perfect palette to help budding and experienced authors reach their publishing dreams–and do it economically. Call it a Eureka moment. The Book Babes were incorporated in February 2009 and signed their first client in March.
